I am facing a problem installing 11GC on Windows XP SP3. The installer will not get past “Step 12 – Agent Configuration Assistant” – it shows as FAILED. see figure below :
my solution is reinstall again with follow documentation from oracle about EM (E11857_01 EM Grid 11g Control) . Follow Prerequisite carefull, n then before you install the EM grid, set the environtment variable :
set ORACLE_HOME=D:\oracle\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1
set ORACLE_BASE=D:\oracle
set ORACLE_SID=<sid>
set ORACLE_UNQNAME=<sid>
set EM_SECURE_VERBOSE=true
do all step with command prompt, until run setup for enterprise manager. Because the setup it’s very depend with environment variable.
